I actually found this pillow, while somewhat cooling, after laying on my side for longer than 10 minutes, its texture bothered my ears; I would wake up with my ears feeling bruised. Over the last few months of owning it, I tried a couple of different pillow cases with to no avail. The store I purchased it from will not return, sadly it will become landfill, and my search continues.

As an update you may want to note that Purple no longer supplies the air booster….I just finished up with customer service and they said that the booster has been discontinued.

I bought the pillow and at that time it came with the booster which I need. It now goes flat after inflation in about 2 hours, I guess it has a hole in it. Also now after a year it looks the same but feels better on the side ends, it seems to feel a little flat in the center even though it looks the same. They no longer sell the pillow with the booster so I would not buy it again. I was really disappointed about this. They did not seem concerned and said put another pillow under it, but then it is too high.

A few friends have purchased the Purple Pillow and loved it, others didn’t buy it because they felt $100 is a lot of money. I reminded them that my TempurPedic Back Sleeper Pillow is $140 (including shipping from tempurpedic.com) so spending $100 with free shipping is a bargain (and unlike tempurpedic, you CAN return the pillow if within 100 days).
I’m planning on buying the pillow soon and then the Purple mattress in May (after my return from a trip out of town).
