If you haven’t heard about Beckham Luxury Linens, you’ve come to the right place. Their Hotel Collection includes luxury hotel-style pillows that can make you feel like a king or queen when it’s time for bed. Personally, I couldn’t wait to see what’s made this pillow so popular. But more importantly, if something is labeled as “luxury”, I want to find out if that name is fitting.

After opening the packaging, it wasn’t long before the pillow fluffed back up to its normal shape. You’re able to spread out the filling inside so it’s not lumpy, but I noticed there were seams along every edge of the pillow, which meant that it was sealed shut and the loft wasn’t adjustable.

I didn’t mind this as it was the perfect height for my comfort level, but some sleepers prefer to add or remove filling as they like, so this is something to think about.

My first impression was that it felt exactly like a pillow I’d find in a fancy hotel room. It was so soft to lay my head on, and fluffing it up felt like I was kneading a silky, yet thick piece of dough. Loft

One thing I didn’t love about the Amazon product listing was that Beckham doesn’t specify the pillow’s loft. After measuring it myself, it came to 5.5 inches, which is a little higher than average. Since you can spread out the filling yourself and fluff it up as you please, I found that the loft was actually ideal for my sleeping preferences.

But as I mentioned earlier, some sleepers may prefer their loft to be adjustable, where you can remove some filling or add more if you like your pillow on the firmer side. If you’re not a fan of a pillow being sealed shut all the way around, this may not be your best option.

The first image above shows the Luxury Gel pillow right out of the box, and you can tell it was still partially compressed. The second shot was about ten minutes later after some light fluffing.
