Overview

BedJet is a company founded by Mark Aramli, a former space suit builder for NASA. During his many years of experience as an engineer, Mark was responsible and has learned a lot about climate comfort and control of both heating and cooling properties of different materials.

Products & Construction

The company sells the patented BedJet v2 and v3 climate control systems for beds. The BedJet v2 is currently available for sale, but pre-orders for the v3 are also accepted.

The BedJet v2 is a device that uses electrical power and hoses to deliver cold or warm air to the bed. The central control unit has to be placed underneath the bed, plugged into the nearest power outlet. The hose attachment goes into the unit, and is then attached to the bed using clips.

For optimal results, the nozzle at the other end of the hose should be placed under the sheets, at the foot of the bed. Then, with the downloadable BedJet app, sleepers can control the central unit.

BedJet also created the AirComfort Cloud sheet, which is made from cotton, and features a special design that allows you to connect the nozzle on the hose to the sheet’s air chamber. It’s available in a single-zone and a dual-zone version.

Customers basically have three purchasing options for their BedJet:

  • When couples both want the same temperature they can buy one BedJet.
  • If you only wish to regulate the temperature on one side of the bed, you can buy the BedJet and a dual zone Cloud sheet (which is sold separately).
  • When sleeping partners have different temperature preference, they will require two BedJets, as well as one dual zone Cloud sheet.

Price

If you’re interesting in the technology that the BedJet has to offer, here’s a glimpse at the prices you can expect:

  • Pre-orders for the dual-zone BedJet 3 are $899.
  • The BedJet v2 single-zone climate comfort system is $499.
  • The V2 dual zone climate system is priced at $1,129.
  • An air hose extension costs as little as $19.99.

Warranty & Returns

The BedJet climate control system comes with two years of warranty, and the first day is calculated depending on when you receive your product. The company takes it upon itself to replace or repair faulty unit without any additional costs for the buyer.

The BedJet v2 is also covered by 60 nights of sleep trial. Those that wish to return the product can expect a full refund, and won’t have to pay return shipping fees. Those that purchase their BedJet with Amazon are entitled to 30 nights of sleep trial.

However, this offer is not valid for those who buy a refurbished unit.

Shipping Information

The BedJet is delivered to all the 50 states via free standard shipping. While the company also covers international orders, shipping fees are calculated depending on the country of destination. Naturally, custom taxes and import fees may also apply, depending on the policy in your country of residence.
