How’s Puffy Lux Different Than Puffy Original?
Puffy offers two models: the original and the Lux. The price more than doubles in the Lux model, but it doesn’t appear there’s much different when you see them pictured side-by-side. However, the Lux model includes an additional 1 ½” of Body Adapting Dual Cloud Foam placed directly beneath the top layer. It’s intended to contour the body and work with the layer one in providing deep pressure relief.
The price hike stems primarily from this layer addition. That’s because, since it’s located in the comfort layer, it helps absorb some of that direct impact. It features a high-quality density that compensates for the lower durability found in the top layer alone. This goes a long way in increasing overall mattress durability.
