Founded by Paul Longman, a heavy name in the mattress industry, iSense is a line of mattresses which also sells other bedding items and accessories. The entire concept behind the creation of this mattress line is to merge bedding and technology up to a point where the sleeper gets to control the firmness of the mattress.
Products & Materials
iSense has created three mattresses that are based on different technologies, meaning they also differ in construction.
- Their Spring mattress is a combination of foam and individually wrapped coils, creating an interesting and supportive hybrid mattress.
- The Foam mattress is made featuring ThermaPhase GelTM Foam, looking to calibrate that body heat throughout the night. It also contains sculpted foam, VariFoamTM Technology, and foam-on-foam construction.
- The Air mattress does share some similarities with the Foam model, only this one has foam-on-air construction, meaning it can relieve pressure points with better precision.
All three mattresses have wrapped rail construction, meaning that it has reinforced edges for better support on both edges and corners. This technology also prevents the mattress layers from shifting, keeping the entire unit in place, as a whole.
The mattresses come with customizable firmness which can be adjusted through the app, or with the help of the intuitive remote control.
iSense also manufactures a regular and a smart pillow, the latter being highly customizable with the help of technology, just like the mattresses. The company also makes sheets, an adjustable base, and the RestOn Sleep tracker.
Price Range
Since the iSense products are not available on the company’s website, the manufacturers gives customers the possibility to find a retailers that’s as close to their residence as possible. The prices will naturally vary depending on the retail that sells the product, and start off with a price of $895.
The classic pillow made by iSense can be purchased directly from the company’s website, and is priced at $69.97, while the Smart pillow costs $169.97. The bed sheet set has a starting price of $169.97 for the Twin XL size.
Warranty & Returns
All the mattresses sold by iSense are backed by a 10 year warranty period. During these 10 years, the company will decide whether your mattress defects can be repaired, or if a complete bed replacement is required.
Customers that decide to opt for one of the three mattresses will also benefit from 120 nights of free trial, during which they are free to initiate returns, but no sooner than 45 days. Alaska and Hawaii residents that wish to initiate a return will be charged with a handling fee of $200.
Shipping Information
iSense offers three different shipping methods for their customers. The standard delivery is free, and includes setup instructions, as well as full customer support. Those who want pre-assembled delivery services will have to pay an additional $169.97.
The company also offers white glove delivery, for a free of $279.97. This includes having the mattress delivered all the way up to the bedroom, plus light assembly and package removal.
