IKEA is a well-known multinational company which designs and sells furniture for all home purposes. Kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, and more miscellaneous items. Since 2008, IKEA has been the biggest furniture marketer in the world. IKEA was founded 75 years ago in 1943, by Ingvar Kamprad. The company sells ready-to-assemble, modern-styled furniture all over the world, with 423 located stores internationally.

Products & Materials

IKEA has an expansive line of pillows, pillowcases, toppers, bedding, frames, blankets, and mattresses to create the essential bed for your bedroom.

When it comes to mattresses, there are the options of foam, latex, and spring mattresses. They have memory foam options, natural foam and latex, pocket spring, pillowtop, hybrid, and spring mattresses.

There is also a line of pillows with different firmness levels and shapes. The company manufactures memory foam pillows, down feather pillows, and hybrids between memory foam and polyester.

They also sell covers, comforters, blankets, and bedding for your mattress and pillows.

Prices

With the different varieties of products IKEA has to offer, there is a large scale of possible price-tags you can come across.

  • Foam mattresses come in between $90 to $650
  • Latex mattresses are priced between $500 to $900
  • Spring mattresses are from $180 to $800
  • Memory foam pillows come for $15 to $60
  • Regular pillows come for $2.50 for up to $80. More expensive pillow models are firmer than their soft counterparts.

Warranty & Returns

All IKEA products come with a 365-day return window in which you can receive a full refund if you’re not satisfied with your product. Your returned product cannot be stained, dirty, damaged, or abused otherwise you won’t receive a full refund. Mattresses can be exchanged for another mattress under the same conditions.

IKEA products also come with a 25-year warranty. For mattresses, there are certain aspects that will be covered under the warranty; the springs inside of a spring mattress, foam and latex core in a foam and/or latex mattress. Wooden frames, slats, and springs in slatted beds will also be dealt with. If covered under the warranty, all repair costs will be covered by IKEA. If your mattress has been damaged through natural wear and tear, or the fault has nothing with the workmanship or components, then it will not be covered under the warranty.

Shipping Information

Delivery pricing starts at $10. Your order will be processed and ready to deliver typically within 1-2 days. Depending on how near or far away you are from the store, though, it could take a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 5 days.

IKEA uses 3rd party vendors to ship your order to your home, so there will be a shipping fee. Truck deliveries begin at $39 and go up from this price depending on how you’re getting your shipment. The vendor will call you a day before your scheduled delivery date to make arrangements for the pickup and installation. Deliveries come between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm.
