About DreamCloud

DreamCloud is a luxury-feel hybrid mattress that was launched back in January 2018. What a lot of people don’t know is that the actual creators of the DreamCloud mattress are the people over at Nectar. Basically, the DreamCloud is a hybrid and more luxurious version of the all-foam mattress known as Nectar, and they both belong to the same company.

Craig Schmeizer, co-founder of Nectar Sleep, talked about DreamCloud even before its launch, stating that this could be a booming success, since people are starting to invest more money in their beds, and are now paying more attention to how they can improve their sleep.

Mattresses Produced

DreamCloud is known for producing the mattress which bears the same name. This is a hybrid mattress which integrates the three most common materials used in the industry: coils, memory foam, and latex. It measures 15 inches in height, and offer eight layers which work together to provide the best combination of support, comfort, and pressure point relief.

Materials Used

The DreamCloud is a hybrid mattress which features eight impressive layers combined to create the ultimate comfort of the sleeper. The layers include:

  • A cashmere top, which is handcrafted, soft, and designed to be breathable and soft, imitating what you normally see in a luxury mattress.
  • A memory foam layer which has a gel-infusion. The purpose of this layer isn’t just to offer the mattress more breathability, but also to cradle the body and provide a comfortable experience from the minute you lie down.
  • Soft quilted memory foam, meant to relieve pressure points and provide further support for the sleeper.
  • Natural latex, which is hypoallergenic and cooling. The use of this layer makes a lot of sense, because it gives the mattress more bounce, therefore a more traditional feel, not to mention the fact that latex is naturally cooling.
  • Supporting memory foam, which adds more contouring to the mattress, making sure that your body sinks into the mattress as much as needed.
  • Dense memory foam, for people who need support no matter their favorite sleeping position.
  • A core layer of coils. This is one of the best things about the DreamCloud, as this layer is designed to offer individual support in five different areas of the mattress.
  • A high-density memory foam base. Every good mattress which has a layer of coils needs proper support, which keeps the bed foundation, as well as the layer of coils properly protected.

Mattress Production

DreamCloud mattresses are all manufactured in China, and then sent to the company’s fulfillment centers, located in Washington State.

Warranty & Return Policy

DreamCloud offers something they call the Everlong warranty or, as they like to say, “the best warranty in business”. This means that as long as you are the original owner of the mattress, you will have a lifetime guarantee that covers damage occurring from normal use.

As far as the return policy is concerned, almost every mattress manufacturer allows returns during the period covered by the free trial. In other words, since DreamCloud offers 365 nights of free sleep trial, you have 365 night to return the mattress if you are not happy with it.

There are no shipping fees involved in case you want to return the DreamCloud. You can contact the customer service team to learn what needs to be done in order to initiate a return. They will arrange the most convenient way of disposing your mattress, which could include donating it, or disposing of it locally.

Also, you won’t have to worry about keeping the original package of the mattress (which is sometimes required of you in case you want to return mattresses made by other manufacturers).

Price Range

Despite being thick and combining some of the best materials on the market, the DreamCloud is a surprisingly affordable product. For the Twin size, which is the smallest one around, you will only pay $899, while the Cal King, which is the biggest option available, is priced at $1,599. What’s interesting about this mattress is that the King-sized version has the same price as the Cal King.

Availability

Even if DreamCloud is a product manufactured by the same company who makes the Nectar mattress, it’s far less available than its older sibling. DreamCloud cannot be found in any retail stores, not is it available on other sites, except for the mattress’ official website.

Shipping Availability

Sadly, DreamCloud only ships to the US for the time being. However, Alaska and Hawaii residents will have to pay an additional shipping fee, which is shown as checkout.

Brand Popularity

The DreamCloud is, without a doubt, a high-quality mattress. One of the main elements that have boosted its popularity is the cashmere blend cover. Created to be super soft and to provide a luxurious feel, this cover is hand tufted to connect the top and the bottom side of the mattress, through the craftsmanship of artisan stitchers.

Another thing that the DreamCloud mattress is well-known for, is it’s Everlong Warranty, and the fact that you have a lifetime of coverage in case of damaged caused by normal mattress use. Also, the 365 trials nights are amazing, and definitely boost the DreamCloud somewhere at the top of the list of brands that have generous return periods.

But what truly makes the mattress one of the best and most respected ones in the industry is the fact that it offers so much, while asking for so little. While some people consider that a mattress will never be worth paying more than a thousand dollars, the eight layers that are found in a DreamCloud bed to differ.

Usually hybrid mattresses offer a blend of coils and memory foam, but DreamCloud has also integrated a layer of natural latex. This means that buyers who opt for this mattress won’t get the best of two, but best of three worlds.
