Casper Element Unboxing

According to the National Sleep Foundation, a good mattress should last nine to 10 years. Therefore, you may only go mattress shopping six or seven times in your lifetime. This isn’t enough time to gain any significant experience or even come across a mattress that’s the most compatible with your body type and sleep position.

It’s our goal to help you make the most of your shopping experience. The online business model allows you to browse hundreds of quality options at your fingertips, and we want to help you pinpoint the right one for you. I recently received the Casper Element (formerly Casper Essential) mattress, and I think this product could prove to be a great solution for kids or teens who weigh less than 100 pounds.

Brief Look at the Layer Construction

The Casper Element is split up into three layers. The middle layer is made of memory foam. While this material has gotten a bad reputation for causing the user to sink in and feel stuck, the layer right above consists of omniFlex foam that’s specially-designed to offer quick bounce-back. This product does an excellent job at providing the pressure point relief and contour through the memory foam without hindering your ability to move around and get in and out of bed.

The Element is a hybrid mattress, and its main goal is to combine material types that work together to accentuate qualities. I think the Casper research and development team did an excellent job in the memory foam and omniFlex foam combination.

• Inexpensive, but Not Cheap

If you’re shopping on a budget, this is the least expensive option Casper offers. However, this shouldn’t be confused with a cheap product. Casper uses quality materials in the Element model. The base foam is high dense, and this is a good indicator it should hold up over time.

Casper also offers a 10-year warranty. This gives you assurance that the mattress should hold up free of any manufacturing-related issues for the amount of time an average mattress should last. I also like that the cover is dark. This makes it easier to hide spills or stains that inevitably happen over time.

Casper Element Mattress Overview

— Firmness

The Casper Element mattress comes in one firmness, and it weighs in at around medium. This is typically accommodating for the average mattress shopper. Medium firmness can prove especially accommodating for:

— Responsiveness and Bounce

Casper Element does an excellent job at bounce, and this can be surprising in a product containing visco foam. I think Casper made the right decision in placing the memory foam in the second layer. You’re still able to pick up on the contouring effect, but the mattress responds very quickly when force is removed.
