We bought a Simmons Beautyrest Black Hybrid Plush Pillowtop mattress from Mattress Firm. We’ve had it for about a month now, and I had a really tough sleep last night. I’m a side sleeper, and it feels somewhat ok when we have the adjustable base elevated (head and feet). Other than that it just feels firm. If we return it, we have to pay a restocking fee, but if we swap it’s only the price to pick up the bed. I called the store and they say I need more time to break it in. Is it normal for a new bed to take so long to break in? Thanks for all the reviews…am looking at a few options online.
