The first layer of the mattress is made from high-density polyfoam, which makes the mattress feel a little bit firmer when you first apply pressure on it. But since this is foam, after all, the mattress definitely gets more comfortable the more nights you actually sleep on it. However, should it maintain as much of this firmness in the long term, it is a great mattress for back sleepers who experience back problems.
The next layer in this mattress is made from conventional polyfoam, and it serves as a transition layer, but also as a pressure point relief one. The density of the foam might not be the best choice if you are a side sleeper, as you are likely to feel pressure in the hips and shoulder regions if you buy this bed. But when putting these two upper layers together, you definitely get a mattress that’s very good at maintaining a cool sleeping environment, so it will definitely work for hot sleepers.
