CordaRoy’s Bean Bag Bed Review Comments

On 05/07/20, I purchased bed-seat from CordaRoys, which costs me $323.73. I was notified that the item I purchased was delivered on 06/01/20, at my place of business. My business is closed on Mondays, so no one was physically present at the location that day. After I was notified via email that my package has arrived, I was immediately concerned, given that by business is closed on Mondays, so no one was able to bring the item inside as to not get stolen. I called one of my neighboring business owners to check to see if there was a package in front of my shop, and they informed me that there was no package. At this point, I realized the package was most likely stolen. The FedEx worker left the package in front of my shop, on the sidewalk, knowing well that my business was closed and no one was present. I immediately called FedEx, and informed them of the situation. FedEx told me that it is not something that they can solve, and told me to call the company; CordaRoys, so they can file a claim. I then called CordaRoys, and they told me that at this point, there is nothing they can do. They told me that I must call FedEx, so they can investigate the situation, which is a five day process. CordaRoys then told me that after the investigation, I must file a police report for porch theft, and wait to be sent a PDF of that report to send to CordaRoys. Essentially, in the midst of this back and forth, contradictory information and advice between FedEx and Cordaroys, after already waiting a month for the delivery of the $323.73 item, I was informed that I, the consumer, was responsible for having FedEx start a five day investigation, and then filing a police report for CordaRoys. I felt that I, as the consumer, was doing the heavy lifting after already having paid them. I am very frustrated. This was totally unprofessional, irresponsible, and I’d say corrupt.
