Is the surface closest to the zipper along the mattress the “top” or the bottom of the Mattress? I’m not sure I’m sleeping on the right side of the mattress!

The zipper is located at the head.

I am a petite, mostly side and hot sleeper. I have been looking into the Casper mattress, Casper model.
Before I do, I wanted to know if there is a similar mattress that might be on a slightly softer, plush side that you can recommend.
