Bought a Biddeford electric throw, picked up at Kohl’s 11/01/20, less than 2 months ago! After approx. 10 days it went BAD. It works, then stops – on & off again & again. This happens every night now when using it while watching T-V. Just spoke to Amanda in Biddeford’s Customer Service who told me I must pay to return the product to them, etc. BIG disappointment!!!

Right out of the box it did not work. They wanted me to pay to ship it for replacement. They sell a defective product and don’t have the decency to pay for shipping!!!

Many of their blankets stop working soon after you begin using them. This scared me as a potential fire hazard.

I was told I’d receive my new blanket in 7-10 days. I waited 3 weeks before contacting them. Rep who answers the phone is nice, but useless. All calls are referred to the warehouse and the supervisor there never returns calls.

Ten weeks, WEEKS, after they received my defective blanket they sent me another blanket.

I purchased a blanket for Christmas 2018, the blanket worked for 30 days and then failed, no lights and no heat. Attempted to return it to K-Mart where it was purchased, and they would NOT have anything to do with it. Paid good money for it and NOTHING !
Would not recommend.

I have now returned at least 4 blankets. The blankets never work longer than 6 weeks at most. Some die the day after I get them. The cord you pick your setting at ends up smelling like burned plastic.

Blanket stopped working. Not even a season.they send a new cord n control.
Worked. Try just today got it out and don’t work. Trying to get through now!!!

I purchased an electric blanket 3 years ago and it worked the first year. At the end of the second year, the blanket failed to turn on, no light on controller and no heat. I contacted customer service via phone and was able to get a replacement blanket. I had to return the defective one at my expense. The second blanket worked for 2 months and then failed, no lights and no heat. I gave up on this manufacturer. The likelihood of a second failure of the same sort is remote in normal circumstances unless their manufacturer process and materials have some inherent defect. I would never recommend any product from this company.
