Same problem as two below (Jan ’22 and Nov. ’22). Turn on, set to a temp–no problem. Five minutes later, all lights EXCEPT for “1” go off and it flashes. I’m unable to even turn the controller off; “1” will flash until I unplug it. Both controllers are doing the same thing and ONE of those controllers HAS NEVER BEEN USED until today as a check against the other. Reset both to “factory settings” per info from manual and NADA. NOTHING. ZIP. Won’t buy a Beautyrest again either UNLESS I get some help soon from the company.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
Had it for about a month of great use now it turns on and turns off about ten minutes later. Tried to look up answers and tried to switch settings and reset nothing changed. Even put each control on its own outlet still the same problem. Extremely frustrating product as it seems great and fits all your needs untill about a couple months of use when it just stops working. I have a shut off issue with one and an error issue with another tried every troubleshooting solution I could find from the company nothing changed. Save your money and time and look for a different brand. Will never buy from again.

Six months in, lights start flashing on the controller, and item no longer works. Company assumes no responsibility. Planned obsolescence? Will never buy Beauty Rest products again.

Out of the box neither side worked! Called the company who said within 30 days, it’s the seller’s problem, not theirs. NO tech help. And try returning it talking to someone who’s English is marginal at best. Nightmare! Buying another brand.

Same problem as everyone else. It stopped working after six months. This is my third. Costco keeps replacing them, but a poor product.

DEFECTIVE. Third Beautyrest Luxury queen size bed warmer and all have the same defect around a year old. The controllers will start flashing all the lights and the pad will no longer warm. I don’t know if it is a controller issue or a pad issue that causes it to stop heating. Since we still have three kits, I have tried swapping controllers and pads but nothing works. No complaints when the warmer works, but if you choose to buy this, be prepared to replace it yearly.

I bought a Beauty-rest heated mattress pad in 2017. In 2018 I got an E on one of the control. I contacted the company and they proved a replacement in October 2018. Well it just happened again. I contacted the company again. They got back to me right away suggested things to try. It still had the E. I just got an email saying that I would receive a replacement within 3 weeks. This will be the 3rd replacement. The product had a 5 year warranty. Seems a little crazy that the controls don’t last.

Same complaint as many others, after a year or two of use, one side stops working and then the other side stops working as well. Controller blinks and doesn’t work, even after resetting, unplugging, etc. And don’t depend on your credit card company or store that you ordered it from to keep receipts. Just when you think everything is out there “in the cloud” forever, you discover it’s not. Keep receipts and file warranties. So frustrating.

I should have read this tread first. My heated mattress pad is less than six months old and the left controller stopped working. It just blinks: does not turn off/on, or allow for temperature setting changes. Unplugging to reset does not work – in a few seconds it goes back to blinking. Disappointing!

Had the entire heat pad replaced 3 times in a year. One of the controllers is bad from the time you plug it the first time.
The problem seems to be the controllers, they are made in China. The pad has a 5 year warranty, call the number on the bad (by electrical plug). They will replace the whole thing. There are no controllers available.

We can not get the control to stay on. We have unplugged it, re did everything. You push the on button stays on for a second if that. What are we doing wrong. Is there some we can call

After having my mattress pad for 3yrs one side stopped working, with myself and my husband having back problems I was devastated!! But I ALWAYS KEEP RECIETS and called the customer service number on the 23rd of December ( last week) told them my problem, and they apologized for my inconvenience, took my information and today December 30th my Brand New Mattress Pad arrived!!!!
I’m more than PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BEAUTY REST PRODUCTS!!!

Had the heated mattress pad about 4 months. I heate the bed, then turn the pad off. It has stopped working. The control blinks. I followed directions for resetting. Nothing works. Just blinks.

After using the heated mattress pad for 2 months, the left controller stopped working. The lights flash and the power button doesn’t work, nor does it heat the bed. I tried resetting by unplugging the unit, but to no avail.

The cord placement is the stupidest possible. Do you come from a p!ace where the plugins, lamps, alarm clocks etc are on night stands at the foot of the bed? If so then this is a great setup. The longer cords required for this placement cause higher resistance within the cord itself causing them to heat and possibly overheat, it is physics, and it is poor design.

where do you place the heated mattress pad, under the mattress protector, on top of the mattress protector and under the fitted sheet, or on top of the fitted sheet?

Wherever is most comfortable for you. I prefer to put my fitted sheet over the top, but that’s just me.

Hi….I’m having an issue with the left controller blinking with all lights. Unplugged to reset, no change. I noticed for a few nights prior I would plug it in to warm the bed, and when I came back in an hour, it had shut off. I can’t find any troubleshooting for this, please help? Thanks!
