The blanket is soft but there are issues. The tag on the blanket is 8″ square and can’t be removed. The fleece type fabric breaks down over time and is degraded every time it is cleaned… it looses its fluffiness. The controller is on a VERY short cord and is a pain in the A$$. I have often picked up the controller at night to turn it on and it is very warm to the touch just being plugged in and turned off. This worries me a bit as its only 2nyears old and wasn’t like this when it was new. It was a gift so I’m keeping it but don’t waste your money on Beautyrest blankets or heated mattress pads, I have owned both and they are poor quality.
