Yaasa is a company launched back in 2016, which sells bundles for a complete quality sleeping experience. They sell their products online, but also have a showroom which is located in Santa Barbara.
Yaasa manufactures and sells different kind of bedding-related items, but their main focus is their mattress + adjustable base combo.
Products & Construction
Yaasa offers a wide variety of bedding items, including mattress protectors, microfiber or luxury bamboo sheets, a memory foam pillow, blankets, candles, and even an adjustable desk. However, they are mostly recognized for their two main mattress models, and what the company calls “the complete sleep experience”, which is a bundle that includes a mattress and an adjustable base.
The Yaasa mattress is a hybrid bed which combines gel-infused memory foam in its top layer, transitional polyfoam with a high density, a pocketed coil system, and a polyfoam base. The mattress is available in two firmness level: soft and firm. However, the “firm” option is closer to medium rather than firm.
The difference between the two firmness settings is that the firmer model has a comfort system made with gel-infused foam and natural latex.
The Yaasa ONE mattress is another hybrid bed, only this one is available only in a medium-firm configuration. It has a very similar construction to the softer version of the Yaasa mattress, except this bed is only 10 inches high, compared to the Yaasa, which measures 12 inches in thickness.
The Yaasa ONE mattress was designed to match the adjustable bed base developed by the company.
The brand is recognized for heavy advertising of its Yaasa ONE Sleep System, which is a bundle that includes an adjustable base, plus the ONE mattress, all for a very convenient price.
Price
The lowest price you can expect to pay to buy a Yaasa mattress is $549, which is the price tag for the Twin-sized ONE mattress. If you want the Yaasa mattress in the same small size, you will have to pay $899. Prices can go all the way up to $1.499 for a Cal King mattress, regardless of the firmess chosen.
The true offer is the ONE Sleep System: customers can buy an adjustable bed plus the ONE mattress for as low as $1.499 (which is the price for the Twin size).
Warranty & Returns
The mattresses manufactured and sold by Yaasa come with a 10 year limited warranty, the same as the one for the adjustable base.
Both beds also have 100 nights of free trial, but the company does require a 30 day try-out before trying to return the product. The company will arrange for the mattress to be picked up, free of any other costs. The mattress is then donated or recycled, but never resold.
Shipping Information
Yaasa provides free shipping for all orders placed in any of the 48 continental US states. Their products are not shipped to Hawaii or Alaska, nor do their honor international orders. However, the company does specify that Alaska and Hawaii residents can contact them via phone to make special arrangements.
