Big Bang for Your Buck

This little fan gives you big bang for your buck, it promises a lot and delivers it too! At just 11 inches (or 15 if you want the bigger one) it weighs in at just over three pounds. It has a stand for surface use, or it can be mounted to get it up and out of the way.

There is zero setup or assembly required. Pull it out of the eco-friendly, recyclable box, pull away the shipping material, and plug it in. Product and warranty literature, of course, come along with it.

The packaging promises to cool your room in the summer and heat it in the winter. It promises to save you up to 20% on your energy bills when used to complement an air conditioning system – the company boasts up to a four degree increase in your a/c and you won’t feel a difference.

You can customize your airflow by using the pivoting head that rotates up to 90* toward the ceiling. With three settings, it gives you air flow from up to 27 feet away when on the highest setting.

This fan will also give you a very light amount of ambient background noise, but is 25% quieter than comparable fans – perfect for a nightstand sleeping fan.

This fan is perfect for a desk, small office, dorm room, bedside table for sleeping, or anyone who wants to provide a bit more air circulation to any room. This fan is not for anyone looking to create a wind effect for major cooling or drying in a room large or small, or to assist in ventilation in anything larger than a small 2 person office.

Size & Stature

The frame comes in two sizes, 11 and 15 inches. The blades are 7 and 10 inches respectively.

The 11 inch frame is 11x7x11 inches and weighs just over 3 pounds both in and out of the packaging.

The plastic frame is sturdy and well built. The fan sits on a wide stand that won’t easily tip over.

The cage around the blades is a sleek design. A word of caution is that it may allow little fingers to pass through easily, however the blades are set back far enough, it probably won’t be too easy to reach those blades.

The cord is nice and long, at over 5 feet in length it is connected directly in the center of the back of the fan. It does not have a cord coil for cord storage.

This fan has the ability to pivot its airflow up to 90* in the face forward and upward directions. This is ideal for customizing where you want your airflow to go! And assists in warming or cooling your room. With each “click” the air direction changes and can be placed in five different positions.

Carrying Handle

If you’re going to be carrying this thing anywhere, you won’t need much help. It’s lightweight and not at all bulky or awkward. But the convenient carrying handle is there, just in case you want it. It’s located right above the speed adjuster and fits four fingers perfectly in depth and width.

The Strong and Silent Type

The beauty in this fan is in the simplicity. There isn’t much to it, and thus not much needed. If you want a light, silent breeze, put it on I. If you want it on the highest (with a light white noise), put it on III. Who knows, maybe II is the perfect setting that is just right for all your needs.

What’s better than a fan with adjustable power and efficiency? A silent fan with adjustable power and efficiency. This baby is quiet! Check out the videos for power and then listen to “all that noise” you probably hear… coming from the background, because it will barely be audible from the fan itself.

As you can see in the photos, the power adjuster is a simple click knob that is easily turned to setting I, II, or III. O is the off position.

For power test – we set the fan up with a curtain tucked underneath the base, but with enough slack so you can see the difference in power between the settings. Photo one is off, two is setting I, three is setting II, and four is setting III. Check out the videos in the same order.

Energy Saving

This fan can be used to complement your air conditioning, if you’re going to be in the room with the fan for some time, turn your air conditioning warmer by up to four degrees, the company boasts you won’t even know the difference. This little change alone could save you up to 20% in energy costs… that’s quite the savings!

Cleaning

A big component for some is how easily the fan is cleaned. Build up is going to occur, no home is free from dust bunnies under the couch, doubly so if you own pets.

Just how it is – you won’t find it easy to clean. Seems as if you have to take it all apart, to get it cleaned up and possibly re lubricated. Some users state the fan will just stop working after a number of years, could possibly be from dust build up or lubrication dry out.

There are several user created videos that show you ways to get it good and cleaned, repaired, and running like new again. These don’t come from the company – so if you’re worried about your warranty, you may want to contact the company before doing any maintenance yourself.

Warranty Info

This fan has a limited one year warranty from the manufacturer.

What Users Have to Say

This fan has been around for quite some time, so it’s given everyone time to talk about it.

We’ve searched high and low for several sources for reviews, and in the final countdown – most everyone seems to love it. Sure there are a few points knocked down for glitches here and there, but for the price you pay, how sturdy it is, how well it works, and how long it runs – the complaints are few and far between.

This fan, though small in size, is mighty and proves it. Quality and durability are what we are all looking for, the reviews speak for themselves. Many say this fan lasts several years, some even say it’s lasted them decades.

What You Need is What it Gives

I don’t think we can say it enough, this fan is pretty much exactly what you will need if you are working, sitting, sleeping, or even living in a small space that needs a little extra air circulation. With its powerful adjustable settings, it’s got a little bit of airflow, a lot, or just enough in three different power modes.

If you’re looking for silence or just a bit of noise for sleeping, this will do the trick. Just loud enough to hear something but not obnoxiously so – where it’ll distract you from falling asleep.

It’s energy efficient and cost efficient, for the little you pay, this little one will give you years of good, solid use. A cleaning here and maybe a tune up every once in awhile, and this fan will give you all of the years of its life, not just the best ones.

Need it bedside, on a desk top, or up on the wall in a corner? It’s small and compact, lightweight and this set-it-and-forget-it kind of model will be whatever you need, whenever you need.
