Whether you carry a lot of weight, prefer a firmer sleep surface, or sleep primarily on your side, you’re more likely to experience painful pressure points. Not only can this make it harder to fall asleep, but it also makes staying asleep difficult.
The average adult needs 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night in order to get proper rest and rejuvenation. Just because you get to bed early enough doesn’t mean you’re getting the sleep you need.
If you find yourself waking up frequently to reposition yourself due to pressure points, it’s my pleasure to introduce you to the Pressure Relief Pad by eLuxury. This product provides a first line of defense in the protection of pressure-prone areas of the body.

Relief for Those with Bedsores
If you’re in a position where you need to stay in bed for long periods of time, it’s very important that you find something capable of keeping you protected from the development of bedsores. These painful skin injuries are the result of prolonged pressure to a specific area, and they develop quickly. Just some warning signs include:
Changes in skin color and/or texture
Areas of the skin that feel warmer or cooler to the touch than the rest of the skin
By taking advantage of the cluster fiber found inside the eLuxury Relief Pad, you’re able to reduce the pressure that causes bedsores in the first place. Cluster fiber is a polyester material that is put through a special engineering process that creates fiber balls capable of trapping air and allowing for better durability and heat transfer in your mattress pad.

Slightly Plusher Sleep Surface
When you use the eLuxury Pressure Relief pad, you’ll very likely experience a plusher sleep surface. This is to be expected considering the purpose of the pad is to reduce pressure points. I am using a firm sleep surface with my pad, and it makes it notably plusher. However, I’m not noticing a difference in my ability to move around.
If you don’t like a plush mattress, this product won’t make a significant difference, but it will be plusher. This means you’ll need to make a slight compromise in order to achieve proper pressure relief.
On the other hand, if you’re expecting this product to make your mattress far plusher, you may want to check out our full review of the Double Thick mattress pad and topper combo by eLuxury that we recently reviewed.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will be taking this product for a thorough test run and reporting back to let you know how it all works out. Some of the aspects we’ll be covering include:
- Heat transfer capability
- Motion transfer
- And a whole lot more!
In the meantime, take some time to check out eLuxury’s website. We’ll be returning soon with our full review, so stay tuned!
