Sleep EZ prides itself on being a third generation, family-owned business dedicated to providing quality, and delivering value. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, the company is one of the oldest independent mattress manufacturers in the United States, and credits loyal customers for its longevity. Historically, as a wholesale distributor to retail stores and hotels, the family business dates back to 1966. The Sleep EZ name was acquired in 1976, and in 1992 the company moved to manufacturing latex mattresses. Sleep EZ successfully entered the Internet market in 1998.
Products & Materials
Sleep EZ specializes in customized, natural and organic latex mattresses. Customers can rearrange the layers within their mattress, changing the support and contour as required.
Sleep EZ also markets latex crib and dog mattresses, mattress foundations, mattress toppers, and accessories, including bedding, sheets, and covers.
Sleep EZ currently sells four mattress models:
- The Select Sleep Organic mattress can be customized for firmness preference. Each layer is available in 100 percent natural Dunlop or Talalay latex in soft, medium, firm, or extra firm. King and queen size mattresses can be split down the middle to create two different comfort levels. The hand-sewn cover is made with 100 percent organic cotton quilted to Eco Wool.
- The Select Sleep Lifetime Dreams mattress can also be customized to match firmness preference, with each layer available in 100 percent natural Dunlop or Talalay latex in soft, medium, firm, or extra firm. King and queen size options can be divided down the middle to create two different comfort levels. The hand-sewn, zippered cover is 100 percent natural cotton quilted to natural wool.
- The Roma Latex is a two-in-one, dual-sided mattress – firm on one side, and medium firm on the other side. The 100 percent natural Dunlop latex mattress is covered in organic cotton.
- The Select Sleep Hybrid is a two-in-one, dual sided mattress – plush on one side, and firmer on the other side. The mattress features five inches of 100 percent natural latex rubber over eight inches of elite pocketed coils. The mattress cover is an organic cotton and New Zealand wool knit.
Prices
Sleep EZ has a price range to match a variety of budgets. The Roma Latex is the lowest priced mattress with the twin-size version costing $1,025.
The most expensive mattress, the Select Sleep Organic, is available in a variety of sizes and in varying degrees of thickness. The king-size, two-piece split mattress at 13-inch thickness costs over $3,000.
Warranty & Returns
Sleep EZ products are covered by different warranties. The Select Sleep Organic and the Select Sleep Lifetime Dreams mattresses have unconditional warranties. The Select Sleep Hybrid mattress is covered by a 20-year warranty.
The company offers a 90-day Comfort Guarantee, and recommends talking to a Sleep Expert before initiating a return to see if re-arranging the mattress layers will improve configuration. A return will be less a $99 fee to cover shipping costs.
Shipping Information
Sleep EZ ships within 48 hours via FedEx. Shipping is free in the contiguous United States. Customers in Alaska and Hawaii will pay a $99 shipping fee. Customers in Canada pay a $149 shipping fee.
