Overview
Sealy started off in Sealy Texas in 1881 when Daniel Haynes made mattresses filled with cotton as a favor for his friends. In 1889, Haynes introduced the cotton compressor into his business to make creating mattresses easier. In 1950, he made Posturepedic Technology. Ever since then, Sealy has been in business for 130 years, manufacturing only in America.
Products and Materials
There are four collections to go through when browsing Sealy’s market. The Response Line, Conform Line, Hybrid, and Cocoon Mattress.
Response Line
Sealy Essential Collection
The Sealy Response Line Essential Collection uses coils and foams for maximum support. The stretch knit cover is soft to the touch. These mattresses use SealyCushion Air Foam and Response Coil System. The SolidEdge HD System has a reinforced foam border. These mattresses come in plush, cushion firm, and firm.
Sealy Performance Collection
The Performance Collection includes the signature Posturepedic technology used with denser memory foams. It has a ComfortLoft Cover couple with MoistureProtect. It uses both SealyCushion Air Foam and SealyCool Gel Foam. The beds have Response Pro encased coil system with hourglass-shaped coils for targeted support and reduced motion transfer.
Sealy PremiumCollection
The Premium Collection has Posturepedic technology and a new inclusion to the cover; AllergenProtect. Much of the construction remains similar to the Performance Collection’s. SealyCushion Air Foam, this time SealyChill Gel Memory Foam, Response Pro HD encased coil system once more, and the DuraFlex Edge system.
Conform Line
The Conform Line has more usage of memory foams and no coils.
Sealy Essential Collection
The Essential Collection features standard and memory foams together, such as the Sealy ComfortSense Foam that provides high-quality firm support foam with gel. They all feature an Ultra-Stretch ComfortLoft cover, super stretchy mid-loft knit fabric.
Sealy Performance Collection
The Premium Models contain Posturepedic technology and Sealy ComfortSense foam, coupled with a layer of gel memory foam. It has SealyChill gel memory foam and the signature ComfortLoft cover this time sided with MoistreProtect.
Sealy Premium Collection
Finally, for the Conform Line, there is the Premium Collection. The ComfortLoft cover now features cool-to-the-touch fabric. The support layer is SealySupport gel foam.
Hybrid
The Hybrid Line has 20% more coils and ChillTech UltraStretch DuoChill technology, along with allergen protection. It includes the advanced immersion memory foam with chill, new Response Pro Zoned HD encased coil system and the DuraFlex Edge coil edge.
Cocoon
Finally, there is the Cocoon Mattress. It provides cool sleep and has the essential support layers required for healthier rest. It has a premium knit stretch cover with phase change material, and memory foam layer s that contour to your body’s shape.

Warranty and Returns
The warranty applies only to those mattresses sold in America. It covers faulty workmanship or materials, and no extensions can be applied to this warranty. Only the original purchaser can use this warranty, and proof of purchase is required.
Deterioration and physical flaws are covered in the warranty. Comfort preference, normal wearing down, physical abuse, products not sold by Sealy and products used not by the original purchaser are not covered.
There is a 100-night trial in which you can exchange or refund your mattress. Returned mattresses are donated, recycled, or disposed of depending on your location. Your refund will arrive within 1-2 business days. When shipping the mattress back, it does not have to be shipped in original packaging.
Shipping Information
All orders are processed within 40 hours and delivered within 5-7 working days. Sealy works UPS standard shipping, which is free. You can also use UPS Next Day, UPS Second Day, and UPS Saturday Delivery. Unfortunately, Sealy does not ship outside of America.
