Newton Baby was founded by Michael Rothard and has primarily been creating beds solely for infants. Now, they intend on expanding to adult-sized mattresses as well. Newton Baby offers scholarships to students through a written essay. Their most valued attributes are the community, quality, innovation, and transparency behind all of their products.
Products and Materials
The first product they have is their Crib Mattress. It has a Wovenaire core and breathe-thru cover. It comes in standard and mini selections, with four different color choices; white, grey, pink, and blue. The mattress is breathable, washable, and recyclable. The 3D cloud cover is 100% polyester, and for extended life, the design is 2-staged, or double-layered. This mattress is Greenguard Gold certified.
Their second product is the waterproof version of the Crib Mattress. Rather than having a complete 100% Wovenaire core, this mattress has a 90% Wovenaire core and 10% polymer. The 3D quilted cloud cover is 100% polyester with a TPU waterproof barrier for additional waterproof protection.
Prices
The standard sized Crib Mattress comes for $300, while mini sizes come for $250. Both options have all four color options.
The waterproof model is more expensive, priced at $330, and it still comes with all of the color schemes.
Warranty and Returns
Returns are stress-free, and you can get a full refund for the return. All non-mattress products can be returned within 30 days. Mattresses come with a 100-night free trial in which you can return your mattress for a full refund. All returned items have to be packed in their original packaging.
Mattresses come with a lifetime warranty which is non-transferable. To make a warranty claim, you require proof of the original purchase or your receipt. This warranty will cover all defects and flaws in the workmanship or materials. Any natural wear and tear such as soiling, staining, intentional or accidental damage or abuse, any misuse or mishandling done to the mattress will not be covered under the warranty.
Any other accessories purchased from Newton Baby come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Shipping Information
Shipping from Newton Baby is free and arrives within 3-6 working days. Free shipping is available in the continental USA. Hawaii and Alaska will have additional fees. Orders from Canada can be done through Amazon.
Mattresses and pads come through UPS Ground, while smaller items come through local couriers. If you wish, you can cancel your orders through Newton Baby’s website, email or service line. Ordering more than one item doesn’t mean they will come at the same time. Different products will come from different stores that have them in stock.
