About My Green Mattress
My Green Mattress was created back in 2007, and is a division of Quality Sleep Shop. Its founder is Tim Masters, father of five children and a businessman. The idea to create green mattresses came when one of his daughters, Emily, starting suffering from allergies and eczema.
While Emily did receive medical attention, her family came to understand that being around natural product was a way to ease the symptoms. Tim used to work for Quality Sleep Shop as an apprentice, but soon became familiar with the entire industry behind mattresses.
He decided that it was time for more organic beds to make an entrance, so he created My Green Mattress as a division of the aforementioned company.
Mattresses Produced
My Green Mattress currently has five different models available for the audience: the Pure Echo, the Pure Echo Bunk Bed, the Natural Escape, the Emily Natural Crib, and the Hope Latex.
Materials Used
As you will come to understand from the descriptions provided below, My Green Mattress is very focused on delivering an organic bedding experience. Their mattresses are constructed to provide great sleeping comfort, while embedding natural materials in their design.
The Natural Escape mattress is made with latex and coils, having everything covered in an organic certified cotton quilted cover with natural eco-wool. Underneath the cover, Natural Escape adds a layer of organic Dunlop latex. The core layer is made with pocketed coils which have a three-zoned design, looking to provide customized support for different parts of the body.
There is also a crib version of the Natural Escape mattress, called the Emily Natural Crib. It’s a flippable mattress with a mirrored construction to provide the same level of comfort on both side. It features a pad made from organic coconut coir and natural latex, and the cover is made with wool. At the core of this mattress lies a heavy duty innerspring layer.
The Pure Echo is an innerspring mattress which also uses organic cotton and eco-wool batting. The core of the mattress is a layer of pocketed coils, with zone support provided in a multi-gauge configuration.
Pure Echo is also available in a bunk bed version, only this one uses Bonnell coils to make the mattress shorter and best suited for this type of sleeping configuration. It also uses the signature cotton and wool organic batting combination available in other mattresses designed by My Green Mattress. The Pure Echo Bunk Bed mattress is only available in a Twin size.
The Hope Latex mattress is a three-layer bed that combines natural Dunlop latex with different densities, to create a medium firm mattress that meets the same organic standards as the other beds developed by My Green Mattress.

All the mattresses that are sold under the label “My Green Mattress” are created in La Grange Highlands, Illinois.
Warranty & Return Policy
All the mattresses manufactured and sold by My Green Mattress come with a 25 year guarantee, except for the Emily Natural Crib, which is backed by a 10-year warranty. The warranties cover pretty much the same thing all across the industry, but there is detailed information available on My Green Mattress’ official website.
Every mattress sold by My Green Mattress comes with 100 nights of free sleep trial, in which you are given the time to decide if the product is right for you. If you want to initiate a return, you will have to way for at least 30 days to do so, but no more than 100 nights.
You can also exchange the mattress for a different model, but you cannot switch it with another size. There is only one exchange allowed for each household. For exchanges, you will also be required to pay a price difference. Take note that only the mattress you initially purchased can be returned.
In order to get a full refund, you will have to donate the mattress to a charity which can offer proof of donation. You will then be required to send a photo plus the receipt to My Green Mattress. If you cannot find a charity, the company can help you in the process. Otherwise, you will have to dispose of the mattress and make proof of that for the return to be initiated.
Price Range
Twin-sized mattresses, which are the smallest one in terms of dimensions, will always have the lowest price. Overall, the pricing for the My Green Mattress collection of bed is pretty affordable, starting off with $289 for the Emily Natural Crib mattress. The highest price you can expect to pay is $1,519 for the King-sized versions of the Natural Escape and the Hope Latex.
Those that want the Natural Escape mattress in a Cal King size will have to pay $1,594.

The models which are also available on Amazon are the Nature Escape and the Pure Echo. My Green Mattress doesn’t have any offline retail locations, so you cannot buy them in a brick-and-mortar store.
