Hyphen Sleep is a mattress and bedding brand founded back in 2015, as a division of Diamond Mattress Co. The company does not have any physical stores; their mattresses are sold on the company’s official website, as well as on Amazon.
While Hyphen Sleep manufactures different bedding-related items, their signature product is the Hyphen mattress – an all-foam bed which is made with different polyfoam layers.
Products & Materials
Hyphen Sleep offers an all-foam mattress which is both efficient and affordable. It’s infused with copper, which makes it more efficient in terms of how well it can cool down the body temperature when sleeping. Aside from that, the foam it’s made with feature temperature regulation.
The construction makes the mattress anti-microbial and hypoallergenic, which makes it useful for people who have breathing-related problems or sensitive skin.
The line-up of products offered by Hyphen Sleep also includes two pillows: one made with high-density memory foam, while the other one is made with cooling gel.
The CloudTech Lite is a mattress protector made with hypoallergenic and cooling fibers, which also integrated waterproof technology. Hyphen Sleep also makes bed bases.
Price Range
If you’re interested in purchasing a Twin-sized Hyphen mattress, which is the smallest and least expensive option, you will have to pay $575 for it. The price goes all the way up to $1,095 for a Cal King bed.
The mattress protector prices start at $59 for a Twin size, and end with $99 for a Cal King size. As for the pillows, the Symmetry is priced at $129, while the Performance Gel is $99.
Warranty & Returns
The mattress provided by Hyphen Sleep is backed by a 20 year warranty, starting with the date of purchase. During the first ten years of ownership, the company will either repair or replace a faulty mattress, and in the next ten years, it will charge the buyer with a transportation fee of $99 in case of repairs or replacements.
The bed also comes with 100 nights of free sleep trial, available regardless of whether the mattress is purchased from Hyphen’s original website or Amazon. Returning the mattress is possible at any time in the first 100 days, without any break-in period.
Hyphen will send a courier to pick up the mattress, which is then donated to charity. The mattress doesn’t have to be repackaged if returned.
Shipping Information
While the mattress is not available for shipment internationally, customers from all over the US are free to make this purchase. Hyphen Sleep delivers its product to all the US residents, and to all 50 states. However, Alaska and Hawaii customers will not receive a full refund if they return the mattress, as the return delivery fees are deducted from the refund.
The Hyphen bed is a made-to-order mattress, which means that it will be assembled the moment payment is confirmed. It doesn’t take more than 24 hours to put the mattress together, so the maximum delivery time for the bed should not exceed five business days.
