In 2004, Tyler Shearburn was having trouble finding the right type of chair to install into his new home theatre. He knew he wanted comfort, he knew he wanted support but he also wanted something that not everyone else had; something that would be funky and vintage with modern trimmings. That is how the comfy sack bean bag chair was born. Website sales started in 2005 and haven’t slowed down since.
Products & Materials
Not only does Comfy Sacks sell a full line of bean bag chairs and loungers; they also have branched out into accessories such as comfy throws, replacement liners, head pillows and more!
- The Sack is the bestselling product that Comfy Sacks currently offers. This bean bag chair is double stitched all around the seams to ensure that the filling remains exactly where it is supposed to. It can be used with or without the accompanying ottoman and this ottoman is multipurpose as it acts as a foot stool, table, arm rest or whatever you may want it to (sold separately). The liner features a safety zipper that is snapped off once the outer liner has been placed over the Sack to prevent children or pets from getting inside the chair. To disengage the safety zipper, a paperclip inserted into the tab will open the liner. The cover is removable and machine washable, made from a soft, cozy micro suede material. The Sack is available in different sizes – 3 ft. to 8 ft. across in width. Children’s versions are also available.
- The Lounger has a more rectangular shape than the Sack, allowing more than one person to use it as the same time. Featuring a micro suede cover for easy spot-cleaning that can be removed for deeper cleaning experiences, this cozy cushion is filled with high quality foams and microbeads for a relaxing experience. It can be purchased in 5-ft., 6-ft. or 7.5-ft. models to suit your body type. It is the perfect addition to a residence that doesn’t have a lot of space to work with and a traditional chair or sofa would take up to much space.

Comfy Sacks offers their customers a range of pricing to correspond with the different sizes that can be purchased of their products. The Sack (a bean bag chair described above) has prices starting at $207.00 and ending at $725.00. The specialty made kid’s Sack retails for $128.00.
The line of Loungers can range in price from $297.00 to $432.00; with the kid’s lounger retailing for $157.00.

Warranty & Returns
Comfy Sacks currently offers their customers a five year conditional warranty that covers the cost of repair or replacement for any product sold that might feature manufacturers defects or low quality construction. This warranty focuses on the zippers and linings which is approximately two years longer than similar companies.
Returns are accepted provided that the original receipt and packaging accompanies the product. This money back guarantee is only available to customers for 30 days from the original purchase date. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer and the customer service department at Comfy Sacks must be contacted prior to sending back the item to receive a RMA.
