Overview
30 years ago, Susan Brown was asked a simple favor – to make pillows for her daughter’s daycare that would support the children that weren’t being currently held. She completed this task and in doing so, created a global brand that many mothers turn to for their infants needs in terms of supportive pillows and wraps.
With a team of over 27 people and a commitment to high quality products for fair prices; Boppy carved out their place in the parent’s hall of fame.
Products & Materials
Boppy used to focus on the infant only with their support pillows but now they also want to support the parents; especially the mom during the later months of pregnancy. Some of the products found on Boppy are but not limited to:
- The Pregnancy Wedge is the perfect product for expectant mothers as this lightweight wedge can be used between the knees to alleviate back pain or under your baby bump for additional support. It’s compact and easy to travel with, so you are never stuck during your pregnancy. It has a washable knit cover for added comfort and the cover can be purchased in more than one design to showcase your personality better. It can also be purchased in the Pregnancy Jersey Wedge – the same product but with a super soft jersey material cover.
- The Side Sleeper Pregnancy Pillow is a godsend for those moms who love to sleep on their side but find that their baby bump is getting in the way. This oddly shaped pillow will support your baby bump and back at the same time, allowing for complete support all over. Filled with polyester stuffing and featuring stretch panels, this pillow grows with your bump. The super-soft cover can be removed and washed whenever you feel the need.
- The Pregnancy Support Pillow is a larger pillow but is still lightweight enough to travel with. This polyester filled pillow can be used when you are laying down, sitting or traveling to provide additional support and comfort to the mom-to-be. With a removable cover that can be washed and a design that cradles the back, bump, neck, legs and shoulders; there is no wonder that this is one of the bestselling items on the website.
Prices
As with all infant items, things can get expensive but luckily, Boppy is committed to providing a fair and comparable price on all their products. Slipcovers for your Original Boppy Pillow retails for $10.00 while the pillow itself retails for $40.00. Other items include pregnancy support pillows for $40.00 or newborn lounger pillows for $33.00. There are numerous items to choose from and a variety of prices to compare as well.
Warranty & Returns
Boppy stands by their commitment to high quality products and want to ensure that their customers are happy with their purchases. Items purchased either at the physical store or through the official Boppy website are covered under a limited time warranty. The warranty covers any manufacturer’s defects for the period of one year and if the item is deemed defective, they will replace the item at no additional cost to you.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you can contact the support team at Boppy and they can issue a refund as long as it is within 30 days from the original purchase date. The unwanted product must accompany the return and proof of purchase must be provided. Boppy is not responsible for return shipping costs.
Shipping Information
At the time of publication, Boppy only ships to the United States (a street address must be provided as shipping is not available to P.O. Boxes) but international customers can check out the list of authorized retailers and purchase their Boppy products through them. Orders are shipped via standard ground service and the total shipping cost is calculated based on the final weight of your order.
If you purchase your Boppy product through am authorized retailer, you will be subject to their warranty, return and refund processes.
