Overview

Acesleep invites clients to “sleep into something more comfortable.” As part of its marketing campaign, the company gives new employees a mattress on their first day of work – the premise being that staff should know the product they are selling. The online retailer entered the competitive mattress market in 2018, selling one mattress in varying sizes direct to the consumer.

Products & Materials

The Acesleep 12-inch, memory foam mattress is described as medium firm, and offering multi-layer support. The mattress has an extra grip on the bottom, and the layered makeup of the bed includes a bamboo charcoal foam layer. At 12 inches, this is a thicker bed built around keeping the user cool while sleeping.

There are four layers of support:

  • Breathable Cooling Memory Foam (2.5 inches): The top layer of the mattress is made with a plant-based, eco-friendly foam, also called an open cell memory foam. Small venting holes are visible on this layer, which allows it to channel air through the sides of the mattress to the top. The foam is proved to sleep 25 percent cooler than traditional petroleum-based polyurethane.
  • Bamboo Charcoal Memory Foam (2 inches):The bamboo charcoal memory foam layer is resistant to dust mites and bacteria, which is unique for a mattress. The charcoal absorbs toxins from the air.
  • Gel-Infused Memory Foam (1.5 inches): This mattress layer transmits heat away from the body, and helps relieve pressure points.
  • High-density Foam (6 inches):Most memory foam mattresses use high-density foam as the bottom layer to support the other layers, and to resist sagging. This mattress has six inches of support foam, which is more than the average mattress, providing a solid and durable foundation.

The removable, washable mattress cover is made with new generation technology that provides ultra breathability, and long lasting cool-to-the-touch sleep.

The fireproof fabric mirrors the same fabric used in bulletproof vests. A polymer fibre is used as the flame retardant instead of a chemical fire retardant. The mattress is tested by the STC organization to prove fire compliance.

The foam is CertiPUR-US certified, which means it is free from harmful toxins and materials, such as flame retardants, ozone depleters, heavy metals, and formaldehyde.

Prices

Acesleep mattresses are affordable for most budgets. Prices range from $359 for a twin-size mattress, to $667 for either the larger King or the California King version.

Warranty & Returns

After a 120-night trial period, the mattress is covered by a 15-year warranty. Acesleep will send you a new mattress if any physical flaw occurs not because of improper use. If the mattress does not meet customer expectations, the company will remove the mattress and donate it to charity, or have it recycled. The original form of payment will be refunded 100 percent.
