Overview

The founder of GhostBed, Marc L. Werner, created this mattress through Nature’s Sleep, a company that has been active for 18 years. All Ghostbeds are made and sold in America. The goal of the GhostBed is to deliver high standard quality while still remaining affordable.

Products and Materials

GhostBed offers three bed models; the original GhostBed Mattress, the GhostBed Luxe, and the GhostBed Flex. In addition to these mattresses, you can also purchase matching foundations, adjustable bases, ghost pillows, and protectors.

The GhostBed Mattress

The GhostBed Mattress has four layers inside of it. First, there is the plush cover which is constructed out of a blend of viscose and polyester. Then, there is the 1 ½” aerated latex foam, which contains small holes that pull body heat away from the surface while you sleep. The next layer, the 2” gel memory foam has larger cells than regular memory foam which helps keep the mattress cool. Finally, there is the 7.5” high-density base that acts as a support for your back.

GhostBed Luxe Mattress

The GhostBed Luxe has a more complex construction that starts with its cover. The cover has three aspects to it; the ½” Triple Tech “Ghost Hug” Cooling Topper, the 1” Gel Memory Foam Formula, and the Ghost Ice Fabric. Together, they wield cooling fibers, infused gel memory foam and cool-to-the-touch Ghost Ice Fabric. The layers that follow are the Ghost Ice Layer which captures heat, Gel Memory Foam that dissipates heat while fresh air flows through, and the Ghost Bounce Layer, an exclusive GhostBed layer that is a combination of latex and memory foam, and finally the high-density base.

GhostBed Flex Mattress

The GhostBed Flex is the latest model from GhostBed. This mattress starts off with its advanced technology cooling cover. Then there is the 1” of cooling fiber and 1” of gel memory foam. After the cover there are two layers, one inch of gel memory foam and one inch of Ghost Flex Soft Transition Foam. There are individually wrapped coils underneath these and finally, the high-density support foam at the bottom.
